The handle is fitted with a plug that prevents your hand from slipping off of it.
Thanks to the soft, anatomical shape and size of the handle's support surface, the pressure distribution on the hand is better than with traditional crutches.
The angle between the parts above and below the arm support is roughly 15 degrees, so that part of the supporting power comes from the lower arm support. This translates as less load on the wrist joint.
The cuff around the lower arm is half closed so that the crutch hangs on the arm when the handle is released.
The leg and arm support are both adjustable in height. The crutches are sold per set and are CE-certified.
